Who’s Christian Riganelli?
He was born in Recanati and began studying accordion with Maestro Paolo Picchio (+ info about M°Riganelli?).
He graduated with honors in classical accordion at the Conservatory “Piccinni” in Bari, under the guidance of M°Pitocco. He continued his studies at the Conservatory “GB Pergolesi” of Fermo, where he graduated in Music Teaching and the Postgraduate Diploma level to address interpretation-composition with Maestro Centazzo. He attended master classes and musical interpretation in Italy and abroad, with Maestros Jacomucci, Soave, and Ellegard Rojac.
He has performed in France, Germany, Denmark, England, Czech Republic, Brazil, Argentina and Japan at major international festivals. He has worked with Vinicio Capossela, Riccardo Tesi and David Rion. It premiered “The function of the centenary” Roberto De Simone, cantata for tenor and meta-historical solo accordion, double male choir and band, during the 37th edition of “Settembre al Borgo” in the cathedral of Casertavecchia.
