The flagship evening of PIF 2026 opens with the world premiere of Pietro Roffi’s “Tra due respiri,” performed by Luca Bello and Emanuele Viti, two of the most acclaimed young talents in international accordion: Bello, winner of Klingenthal, PIF Castelfidardo and the CMA Trophée Mondial, currently studies at the Royal Danish Academy of Music under Geir Draugsvoll; Viti, winner of the 2022 Coupe Mondiale, made his debut at London’s prestigious Wigmore Hall in 2025.
The program continues with Ravel’s Concerto in G, performed by Julien Beautemps — nominated for the 2026 Victoires de la Musique Classique and named Classic FM Rising Star — and closes with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, performed by Yuri Shishkin, soloist of the Rostov Philharmonic and one of the world’s foremost bayan virtuosos.
On the podium, the Macerata ORMA Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Alfredo Cornacchia.
