For over a century a symbol of Italian excellence in accordion making, Scandalli Fisarmoniche celebrates, on the occasion of the 51st edition of PIF, an important recognition: a philatelic postmark dedicated to the company.
Speakers will include the President of Scandalli, Mirco Patarini, and the President of the Circolo Filatelico Numismatico, Rosalba Pigini. A temporary post office will also be active in Piazza della Repubblica, where enthusiasts can have their philatelic materials postmarked.
The ceremony will be accompanied by a live performance from Sara Calvanelli: an accordionist, composer and singer, she develops an artistic research that intertwines tradition, experimentation and improvisation, exploring the many expressive possibilities of the accordion. She has performed in over ten countries and collaborated with international artists. A graduate of the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan, she also studies piano, composition and voice alongside the accordion.
