Former UK Accordion Champion (23-time competitor in the UK Championships), Blair has appeared on television and radio around the world and performed at some of the most prestigious international festivals: the Carrefour Mondial de l’Accordéon in Quebec (4 times), the Alfred Mirek Festival in Moscow, the Leavenworth International Festival in the USA (8 times), the Las Vegas International Festival (3 times), the Caister International Accordion Festival (12 times) and the Blackpool International Festival (3 times).

In 2003 he was named “Honoured Friend of the Accordion” by CIA (Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes), and in 2004 his handprint was added to the “veterans of the accordion” museum in Recoaro Terme. He has published two CDs and two books, “Musical Memories” vol. 1 and 2.
