As co-founder and conductor of the Advahov Brothers Orchestra, he has performed on prestigious stages across Europe and beyond, collaborating with many of the most celebrated folk music artists from Romania and the Republic of Moldova.

In 2022, together with his brother and the band Zdob și Zdub, he represented the Republic of Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Trenulețul”. In Castelfidardo he brings a family project to the stage, joined by Catalin Advahov on violin, Ana-Maria Advahov on violin and Diana Advahov on piano, for an evening weaving together virtuosity and Eastern European folk tradition.
