Born in Urbino and trained at the same “Rossini” Conservatory (clarinet, band instrumentation, composition and orchestral conducting) and at the “G.B. Martini” Conservatory in Bologna, Mangani has composed over 1,000 works and transcriptions for chamber ensembles, band, orchestra and choir.

He is also the composer of “Signature,” the accordion and string orchestra piece required for the Third Round of the Premio Category, which the finalists have prepared specifically for this closing night.
