Éric Bouvelle was born on February 1, 1972, in Nevers, France, into a family of musicians. He began playing the accordion at six and performed his first dance event at eight.

At thirteen, he recorded his first single with Jo Privat and made his television debut the same year on Pascal Sevran’s show on TF1.

At fifteen, he became captain of Maurice Larcange’s “Petits Prodiges de l’Accordéon,” won the Accordion World Cup in the Entertainment & Variety category, and was awarded the SACEM Gold Medal.

He has composed over 2,000 works and recorded more than 60 albums, including two remarkable Anthologies of the Accordion celebrating the French Musette repertoire. He has performed on Cavagnolo accordions since the beginning of his career.

Matthieu Chaussalet was born on June 15, 1980, in Vesoul, France. Twenty years later he became Managing Director of Cavagnolo, the renowned French accordion manufacturer, where craftsmanship and cutting-edge innovation meet daily. In 2010 he designed and developed Cavagnolo’s first digital accordion, the DIGIT, creating its entire sound design. Recognized as one of the world’s leading experts in digital accordion technology, tonight he presents the Digit AiR Millenium: just 5.6 kg, a fully carbon-fiber body and exclusive laser-based technology.

An evening celebrating both the French Musette tradition and cutting-edge digital accordion innovation.
