World premiere of the String Quartet of the Royal Academy of Music in London


The most important events of Friday 18 are the premiere of the String quartet of the Royal Academy of Music in London and the PIF awarding the great Edith Piaf, at Astra Theatre, 21.15, with the recital “Sous le ciel de Paris” of Anna Maria Castelli.

CASTELFIDARDO – Sous le ciel de … Castelfidardo, the magic box is always surprising. A century and a half ago, the intuition of Paolo Soprani that dismounted accordion secrets, starting the industrial production of accordions. Today a special edition of the International Prize is able to touch the most sensitive chords. The gala evening staged Astra Friday at 21.15, admission free – pays homage to Edith Piaf, in fact the centenary of the birth of the passionate and poignant starred in “The Accordéoniste”. The myth of the French singer and songwriter whom we owe real pearls like La vie en roses, lives in the interpretation of Anna Maria Castelli who will trace with intensity and originality of the artistic career based on a rich repertoire folk, classical and contemporary and faithful sound of the accordion. The journey in the most evocative songs of the “sparrow” – from which the stage name Piaf – is strikingly marked by the excellent voice of Mrs. Castelli, accompanied by accordionist Thomas Sinigaglia, Yuri Goloubvev on bass and guitarist Argentine Adrián Fioramonti. On the day dedicated to the genre variety show, the Award & Competition will also elect the winners of the match categories where they are enrolled thirty soloists and four ensembles of the most varied backgrounds: France, Russia, Portugal, Great Britain, Italy, Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Moldova and Brazil. A range of cultures that are compared under the watchful eyes of the jury presided by M° Molinelli. Among the absolute news, the show premiered “Literature and Music” performed by the “Derazey string quartet of the London Royal Academy (19 p.m, Auditorium Binci) that will perform original compositions written by students of four Italian conservatories (Florence, Parma, L’Aquila and Bari), giving concrete project Accordi[on]string, enthusiastically embraced by M° Owen Murray, an idea borned to expand the accordion and string quartet literature, a way to promote the talents of young people. But the agenda is much more: the debut in via Mordini also for Pif4you[ng], free lessons tool to under 18 by the masters of the Civic school of music Soprani. From 9.00 in the morning until late at night, live shows offer constant surprises: the passion of the Sicilian Antonino De Luca and the “Cosentino” Gennaro Ruffolo, to the harmonies of the belgian quintet “Ibris”, Brazilian Coast and many more. The presentation of the CD masters Mazzoni (saxophone) and Riganelli (accordion) in the New Klezmer tales, the gem of Vincenzo Abbracciante – already golden voice in 2011 – who will perform at 22.45 On Stage. On the sidelines, to signal the exhibition Music and Stardustof  Federica Vignoni at the creative workshop of Marco Nisi Cerioni and the Desktof the Widespread Presidium of the Chamber of Commerce of Ancona dedicated to Expo and the Adriatic-Ionian macro-region.
