Agnė Daučianskaitė

Agnė Daučianskaitė was born on 05/06/1993. Agnė is one of the most talented accordion artistic of her generation in the Republic of Lithuania.

From the early training days, Agnė has had many performances in republic and international accordionists’ competitions. She represented the Republic of Lithuania in many different countries – Portugal, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, France and so on. Agnė is the member of the Kaunas’ Region Accordionists Association (Lith. Kauno krašto akordeonistų draugija) and Lithuania’s National Accordionist Union (Lith. Lietuvos nacionalinė akordeonistų sąjunga). In 2011, she was selected for a scholarship of the Roderick F. Tuck Foundation. Currently, she is a corresponding member of the Foundation. Additionally, she is the winner of the Honorary Scholarship of Vytautas Magnus University, the Scholarship of the President of the Republic of Lithuania and the Scholarship of Intermedix. In 2018, Agnė released her first album. Moreover, the young performer holds individual concerts and takes parts in various musical ensembles.

At the current moment, Agnė is an accordion teacher in Juozas Naujalis music gymnasium (Lith. Juozo Naujalio muzikos gimnazija) and Garliava’s art school (Lith. Garliavos meno mokykla). With her students, Agnė actively takes part in various republic and international concerts and festivals. In addition, Agnė also holds open-lessons for the young accordionists and reads methodical reports on various topics related to the musical education.

Agnė Daučianskaitė was awarded by the Mayor of Kaunas City with an honourable Certificate of Appreciation for the active participation in regional and international competitions and festivals.  For the achievements in the international competitions and the contribution promoting accordion music, she was awarded with Certificates of Appreciation by the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaite, and the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.
