A joint among top players, an alchemy ready to release emotions on the stage of the Astra Theater where they get (Marcus Berthoumieux and Giovanni Mirabassi on Friday at 15.15 pm, free entry) on an evening to leave the mark. If the artistic combination between the two French musicians represents an excellence in the current jazz scene, the award of the “Accordion Ambassador” to a precursor  like Peppino Principe is a tribute to the myth that has just been 90 years…

Two inspired souls that blend in the gala evening the accordionist Berthoumieux and the pianist Mirabassi (origins fromPerugia), who in Paris found the ideal environment to express his talent; both features design compositions and collaborations of such a level as to announce a top performance. A concert introduced by the award ceremony of jazz and varietà winners (scheduled auditions from 9.00am on the Piazza della Repubblica and on the Boccascena Club), enriched by the presence of the “Prince of the Accordion”, a legend of 20 million records and as many years in Rai where he was among the creators of broadcasts such as “The Golden Knight”.
