Owen MurrayThe mayor of Castelfidardo Mirco Soprani and artistic director Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi said: we want to give the opportunity also to composers and literature for accordion to grow by PIF- Castelfidardo International Accordion Prize.

ACCORDI[on]STRING, the special section of the 40th edition of the prestigious reserve to students of classes accordion and composition of the conservatories, has achieved the goal. Thanks to the cooperation between PIF2015 and Maestro Owen Murray, enthusiastic about the project and believes that the PIF platform scouting for artists destined for world fame (VIDEO INTERWIEW), will be five compositions that will have the honor to be proposed in the first performance with the string quartet of the London Royal Academy of Music Entering.

The new creative lymph in the complex system of the prestigious award is one of the first goal of this special PIF editino. ACCORDI[on]STRING is scheduled for the afternoon of september 18th. The magnificent five are Alberto Meli and Victor Chistol (cons. Luigi Cherubini, Firenze), Giuseppe Vaccaro and Federico Gili (cons. Arrigo Boito, Parma), Andrei Octavian Popescu and Maicol di Giambattista (cons. Alfredo Casella, L’Aquila), Andrea Sorgini and Thomas Sinigaglia (cons. Arrigo Pedrollo, Vicenza), Massimo De Lillo and Fabio Zurlo (cons. Niccolò Piccini, Bari).
